Hi Reader! There is just nothing like a fruit-filled sweet treat on these hot summer days. I love using the bounty of the season to make easy irresistible desserts that are light and refreshing. Here are 5 of my favorite fruity desserts! #1: Peach CobblerIs there another fruit that says summer quite like peaches? I love this cast iron skillet version of peach cobbler but don't worry if you don't have a cast iron pan. It can be made just as easily in a baking dish. Serve it warm with vanilla ice cream! #2: Blackberry Almond CakeBlackberries are such an underrated summer berry to me. But, they really shine nestled in this delicate but easy single-layer lemon-flavored almond cake. #3: Pineapple Cream PieI like to think of this pie as the cousin to the more well-known coconut cream pie. It's light, fruity, and oh-so-creamy with a super simple graham cracker crust. #4: Blueberry Oat and Almond CrispThis recipe is a great way to use up those end-of-season blueberries. It's also one of the easiest recipes you could make with only about 10 minutes of prep work. Just like the peach cobbler, this dessert is best served warm with vanilla ice cream! #5. Lemon BarsIf you're looking for a refreshing make-ahead dessert you can't go wrong with these lemon bars. These are best made the day before so that they have plenty of time to chill. Then, they just need a simple dusting of powdered sugar before serving! Until next time, Alicia Connect On Social! Looking for more? Find your next favorite recipe here! |

Get The Recipe! Hi Reader! Okay, I have a new cookie recipe for you, and I’m kind of obsessed. These Chocolate Chunk Pecan Cookies have everything going for them - chewy in the middle, crisp on the edges, loaded with gooey chunks of chocolate and toasty pecans. I’ve been making them nonstop lately, and honestly? I don’t see that changing anytime soon. They’re super easy to make, and the dough freezes really well, so you can always have some on hand for when the cookie craving hits (which,...

Get The Recipe! Hi Reader, At dinnertime, I want something quick, comforting, and easy to clean up. Make it a one-pan, flavor-packed meal and I'm all in! Lately, this Sun-Dried Tomato Chicken Gnocchi has been my go-to. It’s creamy, flavorful, and comes together in about 30 minutes! Everything (yes, even the gnocchi) cooks in one pan, soaking up all that delicious sun-dried tomato flavor. It feels cozy and satisfying, but it’s easy enough to pull off after a long day. Definitely one of those...
